Aniebonam fixes November 8 for NNPP Board meeting, reaffirms kwakwanso’s expulsion from party

The Founder, New Nigeria People’s Party, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has fixed November 8, 2024 for the Board of Trustees meeting of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Lagos .
Dr Aniebonam disclosed this while addressing a world press conference at NAGAFF headquarters.
According to him there is urgent need for the party to hold a board of Trustees meeting following a Abia state High court judgment compelling the
Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) to handover New Nigeria People’s party management to the board of Trustees .
He said
“First it is important to note that the party is now safely in the hands of its BOT and so characters like senator kwankwaso, Buba Galadima, Ladipo Johnson long expelled from the party before the judgement cannot speak for NNPP but for their kwankwassiya Group which was part of us before the 2023 Election but have long exited after the election was as we have repeatedly explained to the media people in the past”
Dr. Aniebonam called on the independent National Electoral commission ( INEC) to exercise it’s authority and regulatory powers and control of political parties in Nigeria in the present circumstances.
” Meanwhile the Board shall be meeting on the 8th of November,2024 to take specific decisions in accordance with the compelling order / judgement of the court” – He said
The NNPP Founder called on elected senators, Federal House of Representatives and state Assembly under the auspices of the New Nigeria People’s Party to come together and take control of the Party
The world press conference featured the official handover of the Court judgement that compels INEC to handover to the Board of Trustees from the party to Dr. Aniebonam before the official release of the document to the Public
