ACG Dangaladima Visits kebbi command , seeks synergy with Stakeholders

The Zonal Coordinator Zone B of the Nigeria Customs service, , Assistant Comptroller General of Customs (ACG) Sambo Kaliel Dangaladima has paid an official visit to Kebbi Area Command on his continuous tour of Zone B axis, on Friday, November the 8, 2024.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by Public Relations officer, kebbi area command of the NCS , Superintendent of Customs,Mohammed Tajuddeen salisu.
According to the statement, ACG Dangaladima commended the efforts of the Customs Area Controller and his officers on the stride they have achieved so far in the area of the NCS core mandate.
He emphasized the need for the officers to help in curbing security challenges facing Kebbi stressing that the Customs leadership believes in them.
ACG Dangaladima was emphatic in his address to the officers. He pointed out that asecured Kebbi might not be achieved without strengthening the relationship between the Command, sister agencies, stakeholders, and traditional rulers.
Subsequently, he held a closed door meeting with stakeholders charging them to be trade compliant and urging them to abide by the Customs extant laws during cross border trade.
As part of efforts to encourage work-life balance and capacity building which are some of the vision of the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, the Assistant Comptroller General Customs commissioned five-aside football pitch and E-library/Learning Centre a project fully sponsored by stakeholders.
He expressed delight over the cordial relationships between the NCS and stakeholders which according to him has improved steadily.
ACG Dangaladima concluded the visit by paying homage to the emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar to seek his blessings as he retires back home.
